"Painting is a fine art and it speaks loudly without words" said artist U Saw
Hlaing. He enjoys making his paintings speak for him and for
themselves. And as vice president of the Myanmar
Traditonal Artists and Artistsans Association, art gallery owner, family man
and gardener, U Saw Hlaing has a lot to enjoy.
The 108
paintings displayed at the solo exhibition reflected this, neat detailed
drawings of subdued colored filled the Myanmar Artisans Centre
in Bogyoke market; traditional myanmar music filled the
air.
He believes
the standard of a nation and its people can be judged by the standard of its'
